Front end Framework and Mircroservice integrations: Full-Stack for ABC Academy of Music
ABC Academy of Music is in the second year of a development project to create a management platform for service-based businesses. We are currently seeking a team of 2-4 students to complete 3 specific task areas. At the current stage there are multiple microservices ready to be connected to each other and to a unified front-end framework, which is currently lacking. The project involves three main objectives: The existing front-end, which is currently disorganized, needs to be restructured into a React (Node.js) framework. This will ensure seamless connectivity and functionality with the integrated micro-services. The micro-services such as chat, process automation tools, user profiles, and service designer/scheduling functions on the back-end will need to be connected to each other as intended. These services will be efficiently deployed using AWS cloud architecture, following specific guidelines provided by the us. The project provides an excellent opportunity for learners to apply their full-stack development skills, focusing on both back-end integration and front-end restructuring. The current stack includes: AWS Hosting (incl. Chat API Integration for Hinna.io
The project involves integrating chat APIs for Facebook, Instagram, Twilio, and Email into the Hinna.io chat microservice. This task is crucial for enhancing the communication capabilities of Hinna.io, a platform used by ABC Academy of Music to streamline interactions with students and staff. The integration will allow seamless communication across multiple platforms, ensuring that users can engage with the academy through their preferred channels. The project will provide learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of API integration and microservices architecture, working closely with a student development team currently building the core microservice. The goal is to create a cohesive and efficient chat system that meets the academy's communication needs. - Understand the existing architecture of the Hinna.io chat microservice. - Research and implement API integration for Facebook, Instagram, Twilio, and Email. - Collaborate with the student dev team to ensure smooth integration. - Test the integrated system for functionality and reliability.
Hinna UX/UI Enhancement for Process Automation and Email Templating
ABC Academy of Music is in the process of developing Hinna, a comprehensive small business and appointment management system. The current focus is on enhancing the user experience and interface of the Process Automation Tool (PAT) and refining the email building and templating system. The project aims to streamline these components to improve user interaction and efficiency. Additionally, minor adjustments are needed to finalize the open calendar and scheduling processes, ensuring they are intuitive and user-friendly. The goal is to create a seamless and polished interface that aligns with the overall functionality of Hinna, enhancing its appeal and usability for small business owners and managers. -Develop UX/UI for the Process Automation Tool (PAT). - Develop UX/UI for the email building and templating system. - Apply final touches to the open calendar/scheduling processes. - Ensure all components are intuitive and user-friendly.
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Application
The main goal for us is a research-based deployment guide to implement an AI/LLM to meet our nascent platform's goals, specifically but not limited to: Displaying curiosity to drive the AI's understanding of each business within the platform so it learns to better support each business Displaying a confidence score on each of its interactions to demonstrate accuracy based on its evolving understanding of the business The ability to chat with Client User types to answer questions about services and then to interact with PAT (Process Automation Tool) or the system to complete bookings and sales in the platform We would like to collaborate with students to apply the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to our existing dataset. Students will develop an AI / ML model related to any of the aforementioned applications. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on our platform and the existing/future microservices. Analyzing our current work. Researching the latest AI / ML techniques and how they could be applied to our data. Developing and/or recommending a foundation AI / ML model that provides unique outcomes or insights into our data that will be well suited to our platform, while being as compact, efficient, secure, speedy, and cost-effective as possible. Providing multiple solutions that can be applied to solve the same problem.
